The historic city of Prague this week hosted the European muaythai championships and also the 115 Anniversary celebrations for Harley Davidson. Many of the muaythai athletes made time to visit the city centre and take in the sights before leaving.

Thirty-eight countries came together for the Annual General Meeting to discuss future plans for European muaythai. Special guests were in attendence from the IFMA head office.
Today saw the second round of medal bouts with muaythai athletes including Anatoli Sukhanov and Angela Mamic taking gold.
Day three of the European Championships saw action from the women’s divisions, and men across junior and senior levels. The athletes also got to see some impressive machinery as the Harley Davidson festival kicks into gear in the rest of the pavilion grounds.
IFMA tournaments work on a pyramid structure with a broad base of youth athletes and is now showing fruits as they graduate to competing at elite level. It’s a proud moment for IFMA to see them taking their place competing with their heroes here in Prague.
Today the championships moved into a higher gear with a number of champions hoping to defend their titles jumping the ropes and taking centre stage. And outside the first Harley Davidson motorbikes arrived in the compound for the 115 year anniversary celebrations.
