Saarbrücken, Germany – Following the overwhelming success of its debut, the Thai Garden Festival returns to the Deutsch-Französischer Garten from June 13 to 15, 2025, offering a vibrant showcase of Thai culture, tradition, and community spirit in the heart of Saarbrücken.

Organized by Warawut Thuadhoi and Christoph Lange, with the support of the Royal Thai Consulate Muaythai Bund Germany and Saarland and Thai community in Saarland, the festival features more than 60 exhibitors, transforming the park into a Thai cultural village filled with authentic street food, artisan crafts, live performances, and wellness experiences. Admission is free, and the program is designed for all ages.

Muaythai Shines: Live, Interactive & Olympic Recognized
A major festival highlight is Muaythai, Thailand’s national sport recognized by the International Olympic ccommittee . In cooperation with the Muaythai Landesverband Saarland e.V., the 2025 edition will feature:
- Live Muaythai showcases, including traditional Wai Kru
- Sparring matches with certified referees and experienced athletes
- Beginner training sessions—open to all ages, no prior experience or equipment required
- A full Muaythai Arena near the Valley of Flowers, with activities on Saturday and Sunday
These activities are led by Stefan Kaufmann, Chair of Fight Club Homburg e.V., and supported by local clubs across Saarland and Rhineland-Palatinate.

Last year, IFMA Secretary General Stephan Fox traveled from Bangkok to attend the opening and deliver a powerful message on Muaythai’s Olympic journey. In preparation for this year’s edition, Mr. Fox already met with Thai Consul General in Frankfurt, Nattapong Lathapipat, as well as Co-organizer Christoph Lange, Stefan Kaufmann, and Thomas Fuchs, to receive a full briefing and discuss the expanded Muaythai program and cultural cooperation.
Also joining this year’s festivities is Alexander Dibaba, Vice President of Muaythai Bund Deutschland e.V. (MTBD), who will once again support the national presence of Muaythai at the festival.
