Today, we are looking back on our one week journey at the 2014 IFMA World Championships in Langkawi by sharing with you the beautiful moments captured by our photographers. Attended by over 3000 participants, the event was most successful. Mixing different arts, and different cultures through the love of Muaythai.
A Championship is not only about the game. There have been many meetings such as the Technical meeting, the Medical meeting, the sustainability programme meeting, the ethics and integrity meeting, the female youth athlete commission, Executive Board meetings and AGMs with important conference with speakers from the United Nations, SportAccord, World Games, IFMA and of course the Government of Malaysia were also held during the event.
We would like to give special thank you to the Government of Malaysia, Malaysia Major Events, the Mahsuri International Exhibition Center of Langkawi and of course the Malaysian Muaythai Association as well as Dato’ Shahnaz Azmi and his team.
IFMA is hoping to take this success to newer heights with the 2015 World Championships which will be held in the motherland of Muaythai, Thailand.
