The traditional IWGA Media Workshop took place virtually, via Zoom, on Wednesday 18th November. This way, 73 media and communication professionals from the international federations and some other multi-sports organisations were able to take part in the meeting – whether they were in Australia, Thailand, Switzerland or the United States.
Tuning in from Bangkok IFMA presented the first World Virtual Championships which became an international success with athletes from all over the world using the event as an opportunity to keep staying fit, find motivation to continue training, and for very many be part of IFMA international event for the first time in their lives.
The workshop was organised in three parts: Sport & Corona Crisis, Update on TWG Birmingham 2022 and News & Exchange of Ideas. IFMA is proud to be part of TWG events again and thanks to the World Games media team for bringing the workshop to 73 international federations.
