Hungarian Muaythai goes through its blossom after its athletes made the flag fly high in the World and European Championships winning medals of different values. Hungarian martial art community arranged a loud welcome every time the plane landed in the Budapest airport and athletes have been guests of national sports TVs and radio channels.

This week two University athletes from various sports were distinguished by the National University Sports Board in Hungary and the Hungarian University of Physical Education.

Zoltán Nardelotti and Márk Hegedüs received a special award from the Hungarian government after they made top 3 best University athletes in the world bringing bronze medals for their alma mater from the FISU University World Championships 2018 in Pattaya, Thailand.
The Secretary-General of the Hungarian Muaythai Federation Mr. Laszlo Szabo said that he is proud of this achievement as this awards are given to the outstanding performance in sport and education. Both Zoltan and Mark are true role models for the youth and are future of the Hungarian Muaythai.
The awarding ceremony was hosted by the Hungarian University of Physical Education with many governmental officials, university rectors and personalities of sport in attendance.

The Minister of State for Sports Ms.Tunde Szabo honoured the athletes with the awards which will serve as motivation for the Hungarian Muaythai to keep their winning pace towards the excellence in sport and life.
