Following the cancellation of the 2024 Asian Indoor Games, the International Federation of Muaythai Associations (IFMA) and its Asian continental arm, FAMA, have swiftly acted to ensure that the dedicated athletes who trained for the event still have opportunities to compete. The Asian Indoor Games were also a ranking event for the 2025 World Combat Games, making these new events crucial for athletes aiming to secure their spots in the prestigious tournament.

These events will not only serve as championships but also provide a platform for educational and sporting exchanges, further promoting the values of Muaythai across the continent.
