Set to take place in the capital city of Saudi Arabia, the prestigious event will be making its Middle East debut from October 20th to 30th in the capital city of Riyadh, which will host over 2,500 exceptional athletes and administrators hailing from more than 80 nations worldwide will converge, making this a truly global gathering of combative prowess.
Intertwining the Arab originality that characterizes the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the essence of martial arts heroism, the tournament’s slogan encapsulates the indomitable spirit and determination to triumph over challenges. However, it is the emblem’s remarkable centerpiece that truly sets it apart – the fighter’s head, creatively enhanced, symbolizing unity and celebrating the cultural vibrancy of Arabic calligraphy.
The logo is inspired by the round head of the fighter, from the elegant curves and angles in the Arabic calligraphy, as the head was replaced by a slanted square, skillfully inspired by the point in Arabic letters, adorning the silhouette, to give this an artistic touch, and a distinctive Arabic aesthetic to the logo.
Drawing inspiration from the graceful curves and angles found in Arabic calligraphy, the logo showcases a captivating representation of the fighter’s head. Evoking a touch of artistic finesse, the round head has been ingeniously transformed into a slanted square, reminiscent of the striking points in Arabic letters. The Organizing Committee of the World Combat Games is diligently progressing with its preparations for the upcoming tournament scheduled for October. The committee has finalized the regulations, systems, and approved changes under the guidance of the Supreme Organizing Committee and Sport Accord, marking a crucial step towards ensuring a seamless and well-executed event.
