Rajadamnern Stadium—Thailand’s oldest and most iconic Muaythai venue—marked its 80th anniversary this past weekend with an unforgettable night of world-class fights, celebrating the rich history and bright future of the sport.

The longstanding partnership between the International Federation of Muaythai Associations (IFMA) and Rajadamnern Stadium has provided a high-profile platform for IFMA superstars to test their skills. This landmark event featured a thrilling main card of three bouts that kept fans on the edge of their seats, highlighted by the talented Muaythai twins, Khunsueknoi and Khunsueklek. In the headlining matchup, Khunsueklek successfully defended his Bantamweight title, adding another chapter to his growing legacy.

The evening was elevated by the presence of many IFMA celebrities including Muaythai icon Buakaw Benchamek, 2x RWS World Champion Daniel Rodriguez,  Laura Burgos—Queen’s Cup, Challenger, and IFMA World Champion—who all came to show their support and celebrate this milestone.

Proving that it remains at the forefront of modern sports entertainment, Rajadamnern Stadium unveiled a massive new lighting system, creating an immersive fan experience and elevating production values to a world-class level. These ongoing innovations underscore the management’s dedication to raising the bar not just for Muaythai, but for martial arts and sports worldwide.

The IFMA family extends its warmest congratulations to CEO Bank Thainchai and the Rajadamnern Stadium Family on 80 successful years. From Thailand to the world and back, Bank Thainchai’s leadership has helped Muaythai evolve with the times while staying true to its roots in tradition, culture, and the indomitable spirit of the sport. We look forward to many more years of partnership, inspiration, and remarkable champions.

Here’s to 80 years of Rajadamnern Stadium—and countless more to come!
