Last Wednesday, June 21 of this year, Laura Burgos, current IFMA world runner-up and José Luis Corona Rangel, head of judges and referees of FEMEM, were awarded in the Senate of the Republic by the President of the Senate, Senator Alejandro Armenta, during the session of the permanent commission corresponding to the second recess of the second year of the sixty-fifth legislature.

They were accompanied by Laura Eugenia López, Óscar Pérez president of the Mexican Muaythai Federation and the administrative coordinator Javier Alarcón.

The invitation for said award was possible thanks to Senator Sergio Pérez Flores, who congratulated Laura and José Luis for their great sporting achievements for their work as a technical official.

Senator Sergio Pérez urged the federation and its outstanding members to continue with the good work for the benefit of Mexican youth and different lines of action were established so that Muaythai is spread in a coordinated manner in the state of Morelos, Puebla to name a few. .
