August 2nd will be marked as a historical day in IFMA’s history as IFMA’s first opening of an official Muaythai House during an Olympic Game here in Paris at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

It could not have been a more fitting day choosing the Teddy Riner Arena as the official venue for the Muaythai House as Teddy Riner won his 3rd gold medal and became one of the greatest if not, one of the greatest Judoka’s and one of the most highly decorated Judoka’s of all time. IFMA is really proud that the Teddy Riner Arena will be the home of muaythai for the next 9 days to come.

The opening saw the Thai demonstration team performing a beautiful Wai Kru and Mai Muaythai Performance.

Many VIPs had been present from the Olympic Movement and the City of Paris. French Muaythai President and Executive Board Member of the French Olympic Committee Nadir Allouache, made a heartfelt speech demonstrating his joy on muaythai in Paris and the many activities to come over the next 9 days.
