
July 1st marks an important day in the Chinese calendar. On July 1st, 1997, the countdown began for Hong Kong’s return to China, grounded in the principle of “One Country.”

To commemorate this historic occasion, the Hong Kong Muaythai Association and Wang Championship are hosting a special birthday celebration under the sanctioning of IFMA and the World Muaythai Council. The event will feature athletes from Hong Kong, Macau, Chinese Taipei, and the motherland, China.

The main Greater China title fights include:
- Chu King Chung (Hong Kong) vs. Hsieh You Sheng (Chinese Taipei)
- So Tsz Hin, Abira (Hong Kong) vs. Zhou Wei Jiam (China)
- Wong Chun Sam, Tim (Hong Kong) vs. Sung Chang Hui (Chinese Taipei)
- Ho Chun Ngan (Hong Kong) vs. King (Thailand)

The event is expected to be sold out, showcasing a remarkable lineup of Muaythai heroes from four different nations.
