Kazakhstan is a sporting nation building on the next generation and the Kazakhstan Muaythai Federation is one of IFMA’s founding members. For over 30 years, Kazakhstan has been one of the most outstanding IFMA countries and the first IFMA world championships outside the Kingdom of Thailand was held in Kazakhstan in 2003.

Kazakhstan has held their qualifying events in all their regions and now the finals was held in Almaty to determine the national team who will travel to Bangkok with the full blessing of the National Olympic Committee and the Ministry of Sport.

The President of the Kazakhstan Muaythai Federation and IFMA Executive Board Member Mr. Fahad Amankulov stated that Kazakhstan will compete once again in all disciplines including combat muaythai, Mai Muay and Wai Kru to ensure the development muaythai not only as a combat sport but showcasing it’s rich culture.

Many VIPs from the National Olympic Committee, the Ministry of Sport and the Royal Thai Embassy were at the stadium to support the youth.
