An important meeting took place between the newly elected Governor of Bangkok Mr Chatchart Sitthiphan and IFMA Vice President Gen. Udomdej Sitbutr who was given the honour to convey heartfelt congratulations on behalf of the IFMA Family.
Many topics were discussed, most importantly how IFMA would continue to promote education, culture and sporting exchange, and also how to include muaythai into the education system in Bangkok schools.
The IFMA family would like to congratulate Governor Sitthiphan once gain and look forward to collaboration further on many social projects that IFMA has been running over the last decade together with the City of Bangkok, most significantly the Sport is Your Gang initiative.
An MoU between the BMA has been signed over 10 years ago to cooperate in this important social initiative. IFMA has been given, in 2014, the SportAccord award for The Most Outstanding Social Initiative – Sport Is Your Gang.
