The national federation of Muaythai in Monaco (FMSCDA), with the support of IFMA, successfully ran a Muaythai seminar as part of the 2012 “Pass’Sport Culture Monaco Event 2012”, featuring none other than Muaythai champion, and winner of “The Challenger Muaythai”, Mardsua (Mr Pidsanu Kunchat).
Organised annually by the government of Monaco (Directorate for Education of the National Youth and Sports of Monaco), the event is aimed at students and youth, teenagers from 13 to 21 years old, as a healthy, holistic sports program to occupy the summer months.
The Principality of Monaco was pleased to welcome Mardsua to conduct a high quality Muaythai seminar for the youth. The national Muaythai federation of Monaco particularly thanked IFMA President Dr. Sakchye Tapsuwan and IFMA Sport Director Charissa Tynan, as well as WMC President General Chetta Thanajaro for helping to coordinate this incredible guest instructor and for supporting the promotion and development of Muaythai in Monaco.
Besides his credentials as a 2 x WMC World Champion, King’s Cup Champion and his fame as a Muaythai celebrity thanks to the Challenger Muaythai, the national federation of Muaythai in Monaco had this to say about Mardsua: “His nice personality, skill and fame made him the perfect candidate for such a task.” As a face for the “Sport Is Your Gang” campaign, Mardsua’s sporting example inspired the youth of Monaco.
According to Monaco’s youth protection regulations, all images featuring youth have their faces obscured in the following photos.
