At the annual Swiss Muaythai Federation general assembly, the Swiss Muaythai Federation President, Olivier Muller proudly congratulated Richard Neal, Joel Anders and Carl Emery who will develop and promote the IFMA “Sport Is Your Gang” program in Switzerland.
This is a major step forward towards helping kids and youths and the three ambassadors for SIYG will work hard towards using Muaythai to reach out to at-risk youth and instil respect, honour, tradition, fair-play and excellence in the lives of the youth in the surrounding communities in order to give them a brighter future. These five pillars of Muaythai are not only applicable in the sport and cultural art-form, they are great values to live by outside the ring as well.
Even though Switzerland is not known as a major criminal hub, it is still important to offer positive alternatives to potentially deviant youngsters through the firm values and practice of Muaythai.
