The vibrant city of Thai Nguyen, Vietnam played proud host to the Asian Muaythai Championships 2025, delivering yet another shining chapter in IFMA history. This year’s edition stood out not only for its athletic excellence, but for embracing the full spirit of Muaythai—with Muaythai Combat, Cultural Wai Kru and Mai Muay, and Para disciplines showcased across a dynamic six-day event.

Held under the patronage of the National Olympic Committee and the Sports Ministry of Vietnam, the Championships opened with a spectacular ceremony and continued with full-capacity crowds each day, reflecting the passion and pride of the Vietnamese people. Thai Nguyen truly lived up to its name as one of Asia’s rising stars in sport.
