Athletes from all around the world accepted the invitation and made their way to the 2019 Chungju World Martial Arts Masterships. Today Incheon Airport became the first check point for muaythai teams met by the welcoming volunteers of the Masterships.
Teams from Mexico, Australia, Turkey, Thailand, Czech Republic, Russia and many more made a long way to join the event including 20 other martial arts. It will truly be amazing days ahead of the participants who saw all the beauty of the Korean nature on their way to the athletes’ village.
The three-day event will see men’s divisions of 54kg, 57kg, 63.5kg, 67kg, 71kg, 75kg, 81kg and women’s 51kg, 54kg, 60kg to compete for the medals in Korea and the fame of their country at such far destination. 2019 Chungju World Martial Arts Masterships is another opportunity for athletes to collect the World Games qualification points to stay on top of the pool for the 2021 Games in Birmingham.

 

Just three weeks ago many athletes arriving to Korea made their appearance in Bangkok for the World Championships, and now they are ready to compete for their country again. Tomorrow the draw will give the names of the rivals and the competition will begin.
