History was made when the IFMA Female Commission meeting, chaired by IFMA Vice President, Sue Latta, took place for the first time in an Islamic country.
Many Islamic countries are now sending female teams to international championships, and a special meeting was held to make a recommendation to the IFMA Executive Board for finalized, modified uniforms and to discuss the overall development of female muaythai in Islamic countries.
Mrs. Sue Latta and IFMA General Secretary Stephan Fox also had a separate meeting with an Iranian government official to discuss fostering and promoting muaythai in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
