Over 300 athletes from all around Germany qualified for the final of the German Muaythai Championship and passed the selection phase for the official German team competing at the IFMA Royal World Cup in Bangkok.
His Excellency the Thai Ambassador to Germany opened the event and gave an encouraging speech on behalf of the Thai Government which is the host of the upcoming Royal World Cup.
President of the German Muaythai Federation and IFMA Executive Board member Mr. Detlef Tuernau stated that this has been an exciting event with matches held in 3 rings, covered by leading TV media and also that German athletes are ready to represent Germany with pride and honour at the biggest muaythai spectacle in 2015 and are honoured to be part of the sport history being made this year.
