The Goynuk Ataturk Sports Center was packed to capacity as athletes from around the world put their skills to the test, fighting for a place in the next round of the IFMA 2025 Senior World Championships.

With three rings running back-to-back bouts, Muaythai was on full display at its highest level. Spectators were treated to exceptional performances from teams representing Türkiye, Canada, Azerbaijan, USA, France, Morocco, Iran, Iraq, Sweden, and many more.

Shock Upsets & Show-Stopping Performances

Day 2 saw some major upsets, including Leroy Lupernon (Switzerland) delivering a world-class performance to defeat Thai Champion Thotsapon Saopanao. In another gripping contest, 2023 European Champion Antoni Wieczkowski (Poland) faced off against 2024 IFMA World Champion Albaraa Alamoudi (Saudi Arabia) in a toe-to-toe battle, ultimately securing a victory in a display of grit and precision.

As Day 3 approaches, the final first-round qualifications will take place, with already some fighters stepping over the ropes to advance further into the competition.
