Anticipation is reaching new heights as Vietnam readies itself to welcome one of the most prestigious continental events in the Muaythai calendar.
A major press conference was held today in Thai Nguyen, drawing wide national media coverage. Representatives from Vietnam Television, over 20 leading newspapers, and senior officials—including Ms. Tu Thi Le Na from the Sports Authority of Viet Nam, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism—gathered to celebrate this milestone and highlight Vietnam’s growing role in international sport and cultural diplomacy.
The Championships promise an extraordinary showcase of Muaythai’s heritage, athletic excellence, and unity, bringing together top athletes from across Asia and Oceania. Each competitor enters the ring not only in pursuit of gold and personal glory, but with a deep sense of national pride and the dream of etching their name into Muaythai history.
H.E. Abdullah Al Neyadi, President of the Federation of Asian Muaythai Associations (FAMA), expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the Vietnamese Government for their outstanding preparations. He reaffirmed that, in the true spirit of the Olympic Council of Asia, Oceania is also warmly welcomed to participate, strengthening bonds across regions through the power of sport.

The Vietnamese Government, in turn, extended gratitude to IFMA and FAMA for their trust in awarding Vietnam the hosting rights. Officials emphasized that this event will not only showcase sporting excellence but will serve as a powerful platform for Asian unity and cultural exchange.
