Muaythai Hungary has recently launched the 2012/2013 season of “Fight Night Hungary Amateur League,” a series of open Muaythai tournaments sanctioned under the IFMA rules and regulations. The opening event was in Salgótarján, in the north of Hungary on October 13th. Joining the 14 Hungarian gyms participating in this event, for the first time a Ukrainian club also participated in the competition.
There were a total of 15 amateur Muaythai fights in the event, which excited the local audience with a showcase of regional Muaythai talent. The trainers and fighters showed their support for the organizers of the event with big smiles and positive feedback for the next event to be organized.
The next event will take place on the 24th of November 2012 in Szeged, near the southern border of Hungary.
