The RWS Finals showcased six champions going toe-to-toe, with each division’s champion taking home a prize of 3 Million Baht.
In the Female Bantamweight division, Brazil’s Barbara Auiar faced Thailand’s Kwanjai in an incredible promotion for female Muaythai. In the end, it was Brazil who took the belt and cheque with a perfect elbow. To top it off, the newly crowned champion proposed to her boyfriend moments after receiving the belt, in front of millions of viewers.
The second match of the main card featured Israel’s Ruach Gordan against Thailand’s Chaila. It was a fantastic display of world-class Muaythai from both fighters, with Chaila’s timing and precision earning him the title of RWS Featherweight Champion.
In the Super Welterweight Division, it was a battle of the 2023 RWS Champions, with Daniel Rodriguez from Switzerland taking on Thailand’s Rittewada. Both athletes delivered a world-class performance. Rittewada came out strong in the early rounds, but it was Daniel’s athleticism, determination, and stamina that ultimately secured him the belt and the 3 million baht cheque. What a match it was!
This event was a fantastic promotion for RWS and Muaythai. IFMA will continue its close partnership with the oldest and most exciting stadium in Thailand.
