The awards night honored those who showcased exceptional skill, dedication, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

Best Male Athlete: Jung Ho Hsu (TPE)

Best Female Athlete: Ginny Teo (SGP)

Best Technical Official: Cy Diong (MAS)

Best Coach: Billy Alumno (PHI)

President En-Huang Chang of the Chinese Taipei Muaythai Association highlighted the significance of the event: “We are honored to host the 2024 IFMA Asian Muaythai Open Invitational Tournament. IFMA Vice President, Sue Glassey, added: “The 2024 Asian Open Cup has been a wonderful celebration of the sport’s growth and the incredible talent across the Asia Pacific region. It’s heartening to see the strong bonds and friendships that have been formed, and the continued commitment to excellence in Muaythai.”


FAMA Secretary General, Mr. Mervyn Tan, also shared his thoughts: “Hosting the 2024 IFMA Asian Muaythai Open Invitational Tournament in Chinese Taipei is a testament to the rapid growth and dedication of the Muaythai community here. We look forward to witnessing exceptional talent and fostering greater camaraderie among the participating nations.”


Janice Lyn, IFMA Sport Director, emphasized the inclusive nature of the event and the strong connections formed: “This event has truly showcased inclusivity and strengthened friendships across the Asia Pacific region. The growth of the Chinese Taipei athletes and the display of talent here have been exceptional. The close ties that the Chinese Taipei Muaythai Association has with the National Olympic Committee, the Education and Sports Ministry have been instrumental in making this event a success.”
