Notable Results:

Men’s -51kg: Le Cong Nghi from Vietnam made a huge comeback to secure gold after trailing 2 rounds against the Philippines Lj Rafael Yasay. In the third and final round, Nghi bit the bullet and threw everything but the kitchen sink to solidify his gold on the podium with a round 3 TKO against Yasay.

Women’s -54kg: Singapore’s Ginny Teo continued to impress the judges with a flawless gold medal performance showcasing not only her strength but also precision and muaythai skill against Hong Kong’s Sin Yi Tang.

Men’s -81kg: Hsu-Hung Huang from Chinese Taipei showed his strength and dominance in the ring and secured the home team’s first gold of the day and emerged victorious with a first round stoppage against India’s Rishabh Kumar.

Women’s -57kg: Shu Ki Wu from Hong Kong showcased a stunning performance dominating each round against Mongolia’s Sanchir Batbilegt and securing her gold medal place on the podium.

The medal ceremonies were attended by many VIPs, including representatives from the National Olympic Committees, the Ministry of Education, Taipei City Government, and various sports and martial arts organizations.
