In the heart of Paris, at the Teddy Riner Arena, named after one of France’s most highly decorated Judoka’s, FFKMDA’s youth from various parts of Paris gathered for a unique experience during the 2024 Olympic Games.

Although Muaythai is not a part of the official Olympic program, IFMA seized this moment to celebrate Olympism in all its splendor. The Teddy Riner Arena, an official preparation sports center for the Games, transformed into the Muaythai’s House, a place fusing sport, culture, and education.

The young nak muay immersed themselves in the grandeur of the Olympic Games while participating in vibrant Muaythai activities. But it wasn’t just about kicks and punches. These young athletes also delved into the ancient tradition of Wai Kru with the highest Grand Masters and the Muaythai Demonstration Team leading the next generation of nak muay in France.

Each athlete recited the basic postures of the Wai Kru in an interactive workshop focused on culture, tradition and fun! Kids from France were selected to be a part of the World Demonstration Team who will showcase the cultural aspects of this 1000 year old martial art in various events throughout Paris.
