French President Emmanuel Macron attended the opening of the 142nd IOC Session at the Fondation Louis Vuitton, in Paris. It was at the French land where the first congress was held in 1984. The second and third day was held at the Palais des Congrès chaired by Thomas Bach with many important decisions made.
Announcement of the 2030 and 2034 Winter Olympics and Paralympics were given to the French Alps and Salt Lake City respectively and also history was made in which the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia presented their remarkable inspirational process in sport and the General Assembly awarded Saudi Arabia the first Esports Olympics.
AIMS was represented by President Stephan Fox who thanked the IOC and President Bach for the outstanding work and also congratulated the two newly elected Vice Presidents, two elected Executive Board Members and also the eight new IOC Members
