The Russian Muaythai Federation will be organizing the 2011 Russian Championship from the 26th till the 31st of July in Chelyabinsk. The city of Chelyabinsk, which is known as the capital of the South Urals region, has seen many muaythai events going by, as for example the Russian Contender/Challenger Asia 2 qualifiers in 2008.
This event will be sanctioned by IFMA as it represents the IFMA 2011 World Championship Russian qualifier.
The Russian Championships will gather Russia’s top fighters and teams as Kuzbass and Dagestan, guaranteeing top level bouts. Russian Champions will be included into the already promising Russian national muaythai team in order to represent honourably their country in Uzbekistan in front of the world’s best muaythai community.
Amongst the activities scheduled for this week of great events, it stands out the conference of Russian Muaythai Federation.

Participants: 2011 European Championship medalists, 2011 Regional Champions, and 2010 World and European Championship winners and medalists.
