This weekend will see an important WMC and IFMA event in Dubai which includes athletes from over 20 countries. The highlight of the event will be 4 WMC title fights. The Secretary General who is also the Vice President of GAISF travels to this important event to be part of the official opening of the World Muaythai Series which Dubai has been chosen to be the first country.
The Executive Director and Board member of the UAE Muaythai Federation, Tareq Al Muhairi, welcomed all the athletes and coaches from the 20 countries in Dubai and thanked them for fulfilling all the health requirements to be part of this important event where UAE Muaythai has put the safety and health of all athletes and all stakeholders of muaythai at the forefront.
The Secretary General of IFMA stated that he is proud to be part of this important event and thanked UAE Muaythai and Chairman, HE Abdullah Saeed Amer Al Neyadi, to ensure that this event was possible by providing this much needed opportunity to athletes around the world. He further thanked the Executive Director Tareq Al Muhairi for working tirelessly to fulfill all the requirements given by the authorities to ensure the safety of all participants including the spectators in this important event.
The event will see many VIPs beside the athletes travelling to Dubai to support the athletes and fighters. Besides the world titles fights this will be an important qualifying event for the World Games of 2022 in Birmingham, USA.
IFMA and WMC will now start their world tour in organizing specified events and always keeping the safety of the athletes, officials and anyone involved at the center of their undertaking. Thank you, Dubai, thank you to the UAE Muaythai Federation and everyone who has contributed to this event.
