The International Federation of Muaythai Amateur (IFMA) has actively used the sport integrity program for its athletes many events including during the 2013 World Combat Games in St Petersburg, Russia. IFMA was one of the first 15 world-recognized combat sports, Olympic and non-Olympic, that actively promoted and raised awareness among its officials and athletes about the importance of such programs.
Sport integrity issues, such as illegal sports betting and match-fixing, appear more and more frequently on the world stage. In cooperation with SportAccord, IFMA continues to join in the global fight to uphold sport integrity by making the e-learning program mandatory for all athletes competing in IFMA competitions.
