The World Games are finally here with Muaythai about to make its big debut as a full medal sport! After a series of qualifiers and the show of serious talent and dedication, muaythai athletes from over 40 countries across all continents will compete for the first time on the World Games stage.
The World Games features 3250 athletes from 111 nations across the world, who will over the next ten days compete in 31 different sports (27 official sports and four invitational sports), spread across the host city of Wroclaw.
The opening ceremony of The World Games 2017 will take place in the Wroclaw Stadium at 7pm on Thursday 20th July. The arena will be graced with dignitaries including IOC President Thomas Bach, International World Games Association President Jose Perurena, Polish Sports Minister Witold Barika and our very own IFMA General Secretary and AIMS President Stephan Fox.
