The first day of matches at the ILKADIM OKCULUK SPORT HALL was filled with honor and excitement for the 2022 FISU University World Cup Combat Sports participants.
The opening day for Muaythai was honored by the IFMA Oaths taken by Devrim Aydin from 19 Mayis University for the Athletes, David Gonzales from Colombia for the Coaches and Robertas Siuska from Latvia for the Officials.
Right out of the gate, Tugbanur Kivrak from Ondokuz Mayis University and Alperen Avci from Sakarya Uygulamali Bilimler University showed heart, determination and in the end, victory against their rivals as the first matches of the day.
Amazing skill, control and talent were shown from Ameer Amle from Birzeit University, Ezgi Keles from Erciyes University, Vladyslav Hryhoriev from National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine, Mohamed Mardi from Al Ain University of Science and Technology, Samet Kartel from Erciyes University, Ahmad Helal from Birzeit University, Artiom Livadari from Academy ”Stefan cel Mare” of MIAM and Melvin Saint Pierre from Université de Bretagne Occidentale.
