The IFMA family is deeply saddened by the passing of Saba Chenari, silver medallist at the 2022 IFMA World Championships in Abu Dhabi and a proud member of the Iranian national team.
Saba represented her country and the sport of Muaythai with exceptional talent, humility, and respect. Her dedication inside and outside the ring inspired many, and her passing leaves a profound emptiness in the hearts of her teammates and the global Muaythai community.
In honour of her life and contribution to our sport, the IFMA flag will be flown at half-mast.
We extend our deepest condolences to her family, the Iranian Muaythai Federation, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
May her memory continue to inspire future generations of athletes to follow the path of respect, honour, and excellence that she embodied.
