In a powerful celebration of sport and diplomacy, the Vietnam National Youth Muaythai Team was warmly welcomed at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Hanoi for a cultural exchange event that highlighted the growing friendship between the two nations.

The reception was attended by H.E. Bader Almatrooshi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the UAE to Vietnam; H.E. Eisa Alhammadi, Deputy Ambassador; and Ms. Tu Thi Le Na, representative of the Vietnam Sports Administration overseeing Muaythai. Representing Vietnam were the young athletes who recently delivered outstanding performances at the 2025 IFMA Youth World Muaythai Championships in Abu Dhabi.

In a warm and engaging atmosphere, the UAE Embassy extended heartfelt congratulations to the athletes and expressed confidence in the continued development of Vietnamese sport—especially Muaythai. The event also gave the youth a chance to learn more about UAE culture, deepening their appreciation for the host country of the recent championships.

This gathering marked a new milestone in sports diplomacy, reinforcing the shared values of friendship, excellence, and respect. It also set the stage for an exciting future: both Vietnam and the UAE will make history as their youth teams prepare to participate in the upcoming 3rd Asian Youth Games in Bahrain, held from October 22–31, 2025.

IFMA proudly congratulates the Youth of Vietnam on your incredible achievements and extends its best wishes to Team Vietnam and Team UAE as you prepare to make history at the Asian Youth Games. Your journey reflects the true spirit of Muaythai—discipline, unity, and the power of sport to build bridges across cultures.
