The Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Tourism and Sport, the Sports Authority of Thailand, the National Sports Development Fund, Amateur Muaythai Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage and the Professional Boxing Association of Thailand and certainly the IOC the world recognized governing body, IFMA, have all joined forces for the 3-day festival held at Iconsiam titled, Muaythai, the ICON of Siam.


The event will open with a Gala Dinner with 300 invited special guests from the Royal Thai Government departments, representatives of over 40 embassies, members from the IOC and National Olympic Committee of Thailand and the list goes on.

The Gala Dinner will include performances of the famous Muaythai Live, a Muaythai Fashion Show, the World Combat Games gold medal winners including the Mai Muay team from PHI, Rhichien Yosorez and Kylie Mallari, the Para Champion from Thailand Lapasi Chroktonkcharoen and the Special Champion from the United Kingdom, Jonathan Govinden.

There will be youth muaythai contests between Thailand, Malaysia and Canada and then two championship fights with the trophies given by the Ministry of Commerce.

Both presidents of the two sole recognized Thailand Muaythai Federations, AMTAT and PAT, Dr. Sakchye Tapsuwan and Khun Somchart Charoenwacharawit, who are also respectively President and Vice President of IFMA, will be there to showcase muaythai as a Softpower and as an IOC recognized international sport and art.

Ambassadors from all countries which have held major IFMA competitions will be there to be given special appreciation.

The event will continue for 2 more days and there could not be a more beautiful location but the Icon Siam overlooking the beautiful Chao Praya River
