The final day of the African Muaythai Championships saw fantastic performances by athletes with some very close contests and it was Team Morocco who became the team champion with the home country, Egypt, a close second and Algeria and Tunisia taking third place.
Congratulations must go to all the athletes, the participating countries, the referees, judges and medical team and the Egyptian Muaythai Federation under President Mohammad Ibrahim.
The President of the Egyptian Olympic Committee Eng. Yasser Idrees praised the Egyptian Muaythai Federation for their efforts. He thanked IFMA for their support especially bringing the rich culture of muaythai with Pi Muay from Thailand to ensure that authentic muaythai and culture is enhanced and promoted in Africa.
