The Grand Ballroom of the Ambassador Hotel Bangkok was filled to bursting point for the 2021 IFMA Awards Gala.
Each year IFMA invites the athletes from around the world to this important gathering to celebrate the achievements of individuals, national federations, social initiatives, and also to present the awards to the best performances of the World Championships.
Many VIPs were on hand to support and honour this year’s recipients. Following the cancellation of the 2020 event, participants were gathered in anticipation of the evening’s presentations and entertainment shows which included performances from the National Federations of Gymnastics and Dance Sport.
The evening kicked off with a special cocktail dinner followed by the main event awards gala.
In the Youth awards presentation, Female Breakthrough of the Year went to Anasbia Butenia from Russia, while Male Breakthrough of the Year when to Ukrainian Oleksandr Sukhour.
The most outstanding youth athletes of the 2021 IFMA Youth World Championships went to Quinty Klein from the Netherlands and Johann Estupinan from Colombia.
The most outstanding female junior team went to Thailand while best performance in the junior male went to the United Arab Emirates.
Congratulations to all the winners, and we are looking forward to follow the future careers of these rising stars.

Please report, regardless of whether a violation involves those in high positions of leadership, including within IFMA. Please inform yourselves of what IFMA’s ethical standards, codes and commitments are and report any type of violation that you observe, such as improper financial dealings, violations of the code of ethics, and allegations of discrimination, harassment or abuse.
IFMA condemns all forms of discrimination, harassment, abuse and violence, especially against women, young boys and girls. We offer you our guarantee that individuals who report complaints or violations in good faith will not, as a result, be subject to retaliation or harassment from IFMA. Our continuous development as a sport and as a federation includes building a transparent and accountable community.

Our Ethics Committee will conduct a discreet and objective enquiry based on your complaint.
