Paris, France – August 8, 2024: The International Federation of Muaythai Associations (IFMA) and the Peruvian National Olympic Committee (COP) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote and celebrate the inclusion of Muaythai in the upcoming Bolivarian Games 2024. The signing ceremony took place yesterday at OLY House in Paris, marking a significant milestone for the sport of Muaythai and its growing presence on the international stage.

The MOU was signed by Dr. Sakchye Tapsuwan, President of IFMA, and Dr. Renzo Manyari, President of the Peruvian NOC, in a mutual commitment to enhancing the visibility of Muaythai and supporting athletic excellence through the Bolivarian Games. This collaboration underscores the shared objectives of both organisations to promote Muaythai as an official sport, organise and execute events during the Games, and facilitate the development of athletes.

Dr. Sakchye Tapsuwan, President of IFMA, expressed his enthusiasm for this partnership:
