Over 20 female representatives from across Iran participated in a national course at the National Olympic Academy. This event was a collaboration between the National Olympic Committee of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Sports Ministry, the Iranian Muaythai Federation, and IFMA.

Iran has risen to prominence as a global leader in female Muaythai, a testament to the efforts of the national federation, led by President Javad Nasiri, and the implementation of IFMA’s Gender Equality policy.

Janice Lyn, IFMA Sport Director, praised this significant achievement, highlighting the inclusion of female athletes and the presence of women on the Executive Board of the Iranian Muaythai Association. Iran is set to compete with a strong male and female team at the upcoming IFMA World Championships in Antalya.
