The young Thai athlete is still in school, but trains and competes at elite level. She was very excited to return to the Youth championships and meet with her friends again.

She won gold in her age category at the Youth Championships last year. And in an unusual move she tried out for the senior team and travelled to Minsk for the World Championships. Apasara won gold there after defeating the defending world champion from Morocco.

At TWG2017 in Wroclaw she faced Bui Yen Ly from Vietnam in an exciting and close final bout, and took silver. She said at the time she was disappointed, but also still very proud of muaythai and proud to see other countries taking part in her national sport.

And in turn IFMA was proud to see her visiting the Opening Ceremony and posing for photographs with young athletes. She told them about her time in Wroclaw, and how much fun she had there – a true inspiration to both male and female young athletes.
