The IF Forum is organised by SportAccord Convention in conjunction with SportAccord, ASOIF and AIOWF. It is the world meeting for all world recognised International Federations and is by invitation only.

The 2010 IF Forum in Lausanne was is officially opened by Dr. Jacques Rogge, President of the IOC and Hein Verbruggen, President of SportAccord.

Mr. Stephan Fox, who was participating for the second time as a speaker, spoke last year about Youth and Sport. This year’s topic was “How to Be a Contender”, and Mr, Fox spoke about how sports could use reality TV as a medium to showcase the human sacrifices athletes make on their journey to becoming champions.

As always, Mr. Fox made an enthusiastic presentation filled with interesting facts, coupled with humour and wit.

This shows that muaythai is now truly integrated in the world sporting community with representatives of the IOC, summer and winter Olympics and recognised sports actively taking advice from the muaythai federation.

Mr. Fox has had a busy year as a speaker, taking the podium in Beijing during the first SportAccord Combat Games, at the World Cultural Forum, where he spoke about the social contributions of martial arts

WMC and IFMA will continue to participate in the healthy exchange of knowledge between other recognised IFs and world sport organisations.
