Time is running out for the world muaythai community to join hands and cast our votes for our own Janice Lyn from Canada to grab the title of IWGA’s Athlete of the Year 2017.

Janice Lyn from Team Canada is not only an outstanding athlete and ambassador, she is the voice of the athletes in her active role as Chair of the IFMA Athletes’ Commission, making her both an IFMA Athlete as well as Executive Board member.

Janice Lyn had a tough start at TWG2017, and she was devastated to lose her first match after a close contest. However she continued to attend the bouts every day, cheering and supporting her friends. She even made friends with the volunteers, assisting them when needed. This is the true spirit of martial arts: to take part in something bigger than you and to see the goodness in what happens regardless of winning or losing.

Be sure to play YOUR part and head over to: https://www.theworldgames.org/awards/Athlete-of-the-Year-2017-46

You can give one vote for your candidate once every 24 hours.
If you provide your name, surname and email address and agree to receive the IWGA newsletter you will be able to give two votes at once instead of only one (see details in the confirmation email you will receive).

On January 15th 21:00 CET only the 9 candidates with the most votes will continue in the race.

Let’s all rally and keep Janice in the race!!!!
