The IFMA Awards night not only recognised the nominees in the various categories, but special awards were also presented to other outstanding patrons of the sport.
The Uzbekistan Muaythai Federation was recognised for the Silk Road Cup series which successfully promoted culture and tradition through muaythai. Jerry Hermarwan Lo, CEO of IDN Play presented the plaque of appreciation and to express gratitude on behalf of all the athletes for being given the opportunity to fight on the event series. Accepting the plaque was Mr Sherzod Tashmatov.
