The city of Vinnytsia hosted the Ukrainian Muaythai Championships with the finals seeing such names as Anastasia Kulinich, Hanna Avakova, Konstantyn Trishyn, Oleg Prymachov, Vasily Sorokin, and many more. Almost every weight division in the senior category saw an IFMA medalist on the fight card which again shows the top level of the Ukrainian Muaythai.

The IFMA Vice President, EMF President, and President of the Ukrainian Muaythai Federation Gennadiy Trukhanov stated that this is the work of more than 20 years of building champions and role models.

The UMF Head Coach Pavel Yevtushenko stated that this event will form the national team for the IFMA World Championships with just a few events left to comple the team.

The event was streamed live on the European Muaythai Federation Facebook page gathering more than 100,000 viewers for the final day.

 
With two Ukrainian athletes already qualified for the 2022 World Games in Birmingham Ukraine is now leading the representation of the following edition of the Games where muaythai is in the full competition program.
 
Igor Liubchenko may have a chance to make history winning two gold medals in two consecutive World Games.
