Excitement and anticipation was buzzing through the stadium as the semi-final contestants fought with heart and soul for their place in the finals.

Fifty bouts took place and was telecasted around the world and the VIP section packed with dignities from the world of sport, Royal Thai Government and the IFMA Executive Board.

IFMA’s universality continued with Turkey, Cyprus, Spain, Israel, Neutral Athletes, Sweden, Mexico, USA, Palestine, Croatia, Morocco, Singapore, Algeria, South Africa, Iraq, Australia, Kazakhstan, Macau, Philippines and certainly the host country Thailand, all booked their place in the finals.

IFMA Athletes’ Commission Chair, Janice Lyn, outlined the outstanding performances of the athletes and having athletes from all 5 continents on the podiums shows the true universality of IFMA which is due to the grassroots development IFMA has done over the last years bringing so many new talented athletes to the center stage.
