Over 1,000 people came to the 2011 World Championships good bye party, which ended as it started… In style.
Uzbek performers put on a 2 hour show which concluded with all 74 participating countries partying together. Winning or losing did not matter as competitors and rivals mingled regardless of political or religious difference. It was an example of the quality of friendship and cultural exchange promoted by the Championship event, showing that sport really can make a difference.
It can truly be said that the real winners from this event are those who took part and the sport of Muaythai itself.
This could not have been possible without the dedication of the President of the Uzbekistan Muaythai federation, Vice president of FAMA and Executive IFMA Board Member, Mr. Sherzod.
Thank you Uzbekistan,
From all 74 participating countries.
