In a landmark moment for Muaythai and military sports, Thailand will host the 1st CISM Military Muaythai Challenge from July 10–13, 2025, at Paragon Hall, Siam Paragon, Bangkok. Organized by the Royal Thai Armed Forces, the Thailand Military Sports Promotion Association, and the International Military Sports Council (CISM), this event marks the debut of Muaythai as an official military world championship sport.

Backed by full technical support from the International Federation of Muaythai Associations (IFMA)—the only Olympic-recognized body for the sport—the tournament will welcome elite military athletes from across the globe.
