The National Muay Thai team of the Philippines which is fully recognized by the national Olympic committee and one of the most active Asian federations was the first to check in at the official hotel, Elmia.
They enjoyed an early morning workout and the General Secretary of the Philippines Muay Thai association, Louis Rivera, stated, “It was a long flight from the Philippines to Sweden” and that team Philippines is ready for the IFMA 2016 Word Championships.
The Philippines is hopeful to win at least two gold medals to book their place for the 2017 World Games and this is also an important test five months before the Asian Beach Games in Vietnam.
