The representatives of the 15 SportAccord recognised combat sports came convened for a progress meeting in Lausanne chaired by new SportAccord Director General Vladimir Marinescu.
Many important issues were discussed such as sports venues, hotels, medial and anti-doping, sport integrity programme, hospitality, ambassador programme, cultural programme etc.
IFMA General Secretary Stephan Fox stated that the meeting was super productive and that the cooperation between SportAccord, RUMA and the IFs with no doubt will be the key to the event’s success.
The next meeting planned will be the final Technical Delegate meeting in September and the world should brace itself for what is sure to another amazing event!!
