Sicily Comes to Birmingham
The Italian Muaythai Federation and the cooperation with the Olympic Committee of Italy have staged an official qualifying event for the World Games in Birmingham 2022. Cosimo Fratoni booked his ticket to Italy and is the second Italian fighter after Sveva Melillo the current IFA world champion.
Davide Carlot added that Italian muaythai has become stronger and stronger and that they are very hopeful to have a third qualifying spot and Italy will come with a strong team to the World Games and to prepare for the European Championships in Italy in 2023 and the European games in Poland in the same year.
